En l'an 54 de la nouvelle ère, après une redistribution des pouvoirs qui sont aujourd'hui partagés essentiellement entre les quatre puissances (USA, Russie, Union Européenne, Chine) qui disposent de stations orbitales regroupant les derniers missiles nucléaires disponibles, des acteurs divers, dont un milliardaire fou, un chef indépendantiste kazakh et le gouvernement indien, vexé de ne pas faire partie des superpuissances, vont préparer la catsatrophe finale. Trois personnages mineurs, Juan, astronaute européen, Agathe, espionne et Ashkat, chef kazakh, peuvent éviter le pire.

 

Un roman d'action qui nous fait passer de l'un à l'autre de ses trois personnages principaux. Quelques incohérences, mais en fin de compte une intéressante distraction d'une réalité, actuelle, presque pire que le roman.
