L’armée révolutionnaire a capturé Ajjer. Ils la retiennent prisonnière à bord d’un dirigeable en direction de la capitale. A leur bord, l’œuf de l’héritier, mais aussi un mystérieux trésor que les Impériaux désirent reprendre à tout prix, même la mort.

Le tome 2 du « Cycle d’Ostruce » se déroule dans le huis-clos d’un dirigeable, plus exactement un vaisseau-sorcière. Et c’est fou ce qu’il peut se passer au cours d’un simple vol. Des révolutionnaires surexcités, des gardes à la gâchette facile, des Impériaux qui débarquent de nulle part, une mystérieuse déesse, des duels et encore plein d’autres surprises. Tout l’attrait de ce deuxième tome venant principalement de l’amour que se portent le vaisseau-sorcière et son capitaine. Un amour chaotique qui scellera le destin de notre héroïne.
